The fine print, in plain language
How do I pay for Pro?
Checkout and licensing are handled by Freemius, our licensing provider, which accepts major cards and PayPal. Licenses are billed in US dollars — the KES figures on this page are approximate at current exchange rates. The easiest path: install the free plugin, then upgrade in one click from the plugin's Account page — your license activates automatically.
Does the annual license renew automatically?
Yes, so your Pro features never lapse mid-trade. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account portal; your license stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Details in the Refund Policy.
What happens if my Pro license expires?
Your store keeps working — the plugin gracefully falls back to the free plan (manual payments). No orders are lost and no data is deleted. Renew whenever you like to switch automation back on.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes — every first purchase carries a 14-day money-back guarantee, no reason required. We also encourage you to try the full STK Push flow on our live demo before buying.
Do you charge per transaction or take a percentage?
Never. AlkaPay is flat-priced software. The only per-transaction costs are Safaricom's standard M-Pesa fees, which apply to any M-Pesa payment and go to Safaricom, not us.
